When my Dutch friend came to visit, she was very keen to try a pasty. We were at Wadfest at the time and the local pasties there were horrible.

Pasties are evil, they look nice and tasty, you hold it on a slightly chilly day and your hands get warmed up, you bite into it and your entire digestive tract is instantly roasted from lips to stomach!
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a man my son.

The main pony news site has a nightly post rounding up all the misc news from the day. Today they hit their 666th post. Filled the entire thing with gothic fonts, hidden (and not so hidden) creepy images, and a spooky ambient sound effect track playing in the background that took me a few minutes to figure out where it was coming from. Like Halloween in may. I loved it. :D

Of all the forces in the universe, the hardest to overcome is the force of habit. Gravity is easy-peasy by comparison.

Thanks for sharing, some great quotes in there! Just shows how observant pTerry is, especially in light of recent events!

Nope they certainly need to pay me $25 to read that.

Someone sending my this link to 12 Neil Gaiman short stories. Now I can get my NG fix until his latest book is out.
