Today I am so cranky, I cannot even stand being around myself.

It is, thanks. Still feeling a bit off. But, I just ate a giant wedge of carrot cake, so I'm a little bit nicer now. :shifty:

Carrots are a vegetable, so it's good for you ;)
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Wise words Dotsie.

I ate a slice of something delicious yesterday. Now behave yourselves! I don't know the name of it but it looked cake-ish, with lots of custard in it. Pecans on the top so that's ok, isn't it? I did feel a bit sick afterwards but one can not refuse free food in the staff tea room, can one?

Sorry you've got an annoying thing still hanging on Con.

Cranky day eh, Catch-up? I won't mess with ya, that's for sure.

I got all of my flight, hotel and car rent stuff straightened out. :)

It took a few hours on the phone, but in the end, I actually saved about $200. :)

I was very impressed with how accommodating priceline.com was!

What Tony said.

I'm frustrated, I'm trying to sort out my pension and change companies. The company I paid into are messing about, dragging their heels, and seem surprised that I want to change. When they performed so poorly that it's made me about the same as I paid in.

^^^What are they doing; or not doing?

I still have my cough. It's been a week. Should I be going to have it looked at? I don't know if it will matter much, since I leave early tomorrow morning for vacation. Maybe the hot air in Vegas will heal me?? :?

Con, not posting my retirement pack when they should have, not including one of the forms I need, and they can't email it! Oh no, it's an automated system and will be sent out today, 2nd class when I phoned up early yesterday to try and get it sorted. Automated system my bum!

How frustrating WW! That whole "automated system" thing is a load of rubbish and simply means that people aren't communicating in that company.

WW.

Coninkydinkyly, our Pension Lady is in today. When she gets a free moment, I'll show her your complaints, and pick her brains as to what you can do, viz the ombudsman or somesuch.

Showed her your gripes, and she said that insurance companies are always like this, especially the under-performing ones. I quote her "like getting blood out of a stone".

She would be interested to know which company it is.

She even offered to deal with it, but don't panic, I said no. Nearly had a heart attack when she said that!
