Alex Ferguson to Retire in Summer

Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

I'll believe it when it happens, he's been going to retire before now.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a man my son.

I hope Jose Mourinho takes over Man U. just to watch all the Chelsea expectations and hopes implode (it's on record somewhere that Fergie wanted a say in appointing his successor and that he has mentioned 'The Special One' in that context before). :D

Mind you, seeing as it's Sir Alex and Man Utd, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets an extra five years extra time.

(Sorry Christian)

As we now know, this year's final taking place at Wembley will be an all German affair between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Stadium staff, however, arriving for work this morning were somewhat surprised to find 90,000 towels already on the seats!

Hmm, ditto the effort required to really care :hand:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, naked, drunk and on fire screaming YEEHAAW ! . . . .

Amazing how many care enough to point out they don't care ;)

Does his resignation really justify Jon Snow going to Manchester, and presenting last night's Channel Four News from outside Old Trafford?
