And Bonnie - a wooden card - its gorgeous. and it smells all cedar-y as well. Cool

Oh my goodness, you guys are fast! I've gotten a few requests for cards from Hell, so I'll make sure to get over there soon to get them sent.

Finding your postcard in my mailbox really made my day, Mad! :D I love the look of the bridge but it's such a long way down to the river. :o

It averages about 60 feet from the middle of the bridge to the water Bonnie, there used to be sailing ships this far up the river and they had to be able to get under it. The river is also very variable in depth, at the moment it's quite low but in January it was over 20 feet higher and flooded the town so they had to allow for the high water level and then a masted ship on top of that.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I got a lovely card of St.Lawrence Church in Alton from Chilli this morning. He says in the message that he once came close to demolishing the church.

Thanks Chilli!

 I may sometimes threaten him if something breaks, but I would never do that! I was taught how to fell a tree when I first took up tree surgery. The tree was close to the church and if I hadn't been a quick learner I might have left a sizable dent in a very old church. But it all ended well. :D glad the card arrived ok Tony.
