I read @neilhimself The Ocean At The End Of The Lane last week. It's bloody wonderful, a great story of childhood & memory.

Turns out she's a journo and got a preview copy. :mrgreen:

I'm sitting on the fence for that one, the blurb did not draw me in enough to order a copy. :-|

I held back on ordering a copy, then I saw a signed slipcased for 30 quid and had to cos the yank version was £80 so I was saving money really. :D :shock: :shock: :shock:

I was really surprised that I was able to put a hold on it at the library! Had to double check it after seeing here that it's not out until June. I thought I could only hold a book once one of the libraries in the network actually had it. Turns out I can do it while they're waiting to acquire it! :D
