Douglas Adams said that they got lots of letters from people when Hitchhikers was on asking where they could get the music and a lot of them were really surprised to find that they already had it and didn't realise. :D
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I'm listening to the whole of Delibes's ballet "Sylvia". :D

Here's the Pas de Deux, which might be recognisable to a lot of people.

People always focus on their earlier stuff from the 60s and 70s heydays but overlook some of their later stuff

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? ~~ Oddball

I really like Mumford & Sons. I really, really like that song as well. Btw, look at that crowd eh? Good music breaks borders.

Am going to see this guy soon. Can't wait, I love his stuff.

It's funny how you can miss someone you never knew, but, I miss Douglas Adams.

Hawkwind have gotten popular, I recognised it from the new ford advert when a guy dives through the doors in a pool, bugged when I found out it was not the one I thought it was, turned out it was Master of the Universe.

Still on Bach's complete works but have hit the problem with complete sets, the tracks that are only there because it's a complete set  Specifically in this case Keyboard Works 1700 to 1710. Now there are a lot of great Bach keyboard pieces from that period but they have their own discs, this is effectively a triple album of the also rans. Yes they are individually good but almost 4 hours of what can only be considered Bach's B Sides is a bit wearing.

However I have the Italian Concerto on the disc after this lot to look forward to :D

Still listening to Hawkwind albums, it's been a long time still have them on vinyl but nothing to play then on and no space to put an USB unit for them, love Simon House and King on the electric violin fantastic clasical violinists. :D

I've been on the Cornell Bird site listening to bird song from the various birds I hear in Tucson. When I've been talking to Sharlene on Skype recently I've been hearing a bird singing in the cottonwood tree outside her apartment. I managed to identify it as a House Finch. But then I went on to find other calls of local Tucson birds such as the:

Cactus Wren
Great-Tailed Grackle
Gila Woodpecker
Acorn Woodpecker
Phainopepla

They are all pretty raucous sounds, but they are sounds I identify with Tucson. I wish I was there now. :(
