I have ploughed through them as I can't resist a new book with Terry's name attached to it but they are hard work - I also feel they spoil the magic a little - especially 'Judgement Day'. I kind of had the feeling the scientists were taking the mickey out of those of us who think the world is a little bit better with some make believe - maybe I have missed the point?
I read 1 & 2, TBH I thought the science was arrogant and not completely true anyway. Some funny bits, can't really remember them, I might try again at some point. It will be a while till I read this one I should think.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
I'm just over half way through "Judgement Day", Oh boy is it hard going (well the science bits). I agree with what has been said earlier, in so far as why oh why are the sciencey bits 20 pages long and the Discy bits 5 to 8 ??? Grrr.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, naked, drunk and on fire screaming YEEHAAW ! . . . .
