I blame kid's TV. I've said it before - if a tyrannosaurus rex was terrorising the neighbourhood all the local kids would singing the "I Love You" song to it. It's irresponsible of the programme makers. :naughty:

 So what would you recommend someone faced with a T rex should do?

I'm glad the message about germs is getting through :P
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Well, they wouldn't be singing it for long.

It's hard to get across to a child that this big, beautiful animal they see at the zoo, on TV and in books is dangerous. We were at the zoo one day watching the tigers just through a big piece of plexiglass because they'd come inside. Thing 2 asked, "What do you think they're thinking when they look at me?" And daddy answered, "Lunch."

Krehbiel, a social worker, said she didn't scream or run because she is trained to stay calm.

:D

That's the part I like best. I suppose the things you see every day being a social worker make tigers in the ladies' room seem like a minor convenience.

I've got a title for the movie version, however: The Lav of Pee.

Wise child. After all, far more people have died from poor hygiene than have been eaten by tigers, especially in Kansas.

I think if I ever get to visit oz ill assume that any creature I notice even looking at me funny will necessitate a lie down and if they even touch me and I notice any symptoms of anything ill get a taxi or ambulance immediately!
Oz is almost as dangerous as Ecksecksecksecks, for strange reason.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a man my son.

Assume what? The young man was bitten by a Western Brown, one of the most venomous snakes in Australia.
