I sometimes buy boxed sets of DVDs over here and ship them to Sharlene in the US and the postage is only around £7 and that's for a complete series of Star Trek. It still works out considerably cheaper than buying the set in the US.

I've sent a message to the seller asking about their policy and if they need a little more money to cover the extra postage
but I don't think they'll budge
so what I'll do is put a bit aside out of this months pay and next months pay and get it this way
should have done this in the first place

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Hope you feel better soon SJ. And the chocolate will make you feel better, even if it's not antiviral. Good suggestion Dotsie! :D

Feed a cold and starve a fever? Never did work out what that meant but if you've got flu it's a fever and lots of fluids and rest will help....but you knew that anyway.

It means don't load yourself with a lot of food while you have a flu bug as your body will have to work harder to process it, while loads of liquid will help keep you hydrated.

Hope you get well soon Sister J.

When you think it through, it's usually the case that you're right off food when you have a high temperature anyway so 'starving a fever' isn't so daft. Why didn't I think of that before?
