Really good, Chilli the detail is so clear. For flash dont stand overhead, photo at an angle and try zoom further away.

As above the aboves! Regarding the flash, maybe you could use a steady surface to keep the camera steady and use a slower shutter speed instead of using a flash. I don't know what kind of camera you use, but if it is a point and click type then a mini-tripod or gorilla-pod would be ideal (and they don't cost too much either). :D

Now it's time to start spamming this thread with my holiday pics. There are a lot of them to sort through, so I'm only going to post a few at a time and then link to an album when I've got them all done. These were taken on the first day where we stopped off at Beaulieu Motor Museum before going onto Stonehenge. We did travel through the New Forest but the weather was so bad we didn't stop off there.

And here's one for a certain renowned forumer. ;)

These are from Stonehenge where we all got a bit wet walking around it. It's a lot smaller in circumference than I imagined although the sheer size of the stones is an impressive testament to the people who transported the stones and built the monument.

I've now got an image of our Del in shades with a US Army helmet with five stars on.

Nice pics Penfold. By coincidence, I was at Beaulieu a few weeks ago. Good place to visit, even if you're not that into cars. Did you ride on the monorail?

I'm definitely not a petrol head but I did enjoy the exhibitions there. They also had the Top Gear and 007 vehicles which was great. I didn't ride on the monorail since it was quite busy and we really only went for the photo opportunities. :D

Great photos Penners. :D

Thanks to you and Dug for the photography tips.

I love Beaulieu - It was almost my second home when growing up  My Dad has a lifetime ticket which admits him and a guest free (they don't do these anymore) plus reduced rates for the others in the party. So as kids we visited regularly. Its fascinating to see how some exhibits change, but others remain the same.

And Stonehenge is an amazing place - always seems to be grey and raining when I visit though

Beaulieu brings back memories as a kid that used to be my brothers treat outing and mine was Marwell zoo, still remember the car that was shaped like an orange, is that still there penners?
