Other people were being allowed to do it anyway. I just chose not to for the reasons above, both pragmatic and sympathetic. It may have been a different matter, however, if I had bought an autograph token before they made the announcement. Luckily, I didn't.

The ghost thing? I found it a bit incoherant, didn't really explain where the monster came from or what it was, didn't really do the chrononaut justice, I thought the bones of the story were good but the fleshing out was slapdash - I'm coming around to Matt Smith, his manic gangly thing has a certain charm, but I don't think he's being given much to work with lately
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? ~~ Oddball

that story needed two parts to allow the plot to develop properly
or the monster cropped completely from the story altogether

Thanks. Can't wait to read your full post, Del.

Hide was a good story. I will admit, they didn't develop either the chrononaut or the monster as well as they should have, but it was certainly better than Neil Cross' other story for the season (The Rings of Akhaten).

Hide was quite creepy to start with, darkened doorways give me the hebejebes. I lost track of what was going on at the end though :? Maybe it's cause I'm sick at the moment.

Nope, I need a computer for that and some kind of download as I recall. Main problem is I can't use flash since I have a sucky iPad so only YouTube works.

Isn't it on BBC 3 (or possibly BBC4) over the next day or so?
