Easter Solar Image

Postby KnightOfFewWords » Sun Apr 14, 2013 12:59 pm

As promised, here's an image of the Sun I took at Easter - I finally got around to processing it. Hope you enjoy it.

Here's a direct link, as the forum crops the image slightly, hiding the big prominence on the right.

WOW.

Seeing that picture really brightened my day!
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a man my son.

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Chris, If you look close you might see the toe of a platform boot sticking out at the bootom of the flare.

It would be even more impressive with a planetary body in there, like Venus or mercury.
Well, you know what they say. The past is a foreign country - - With an outdated military and huge oil reserves!
