though still warm air enough to generate a few nice storms (she says from under the bed!) The wind tore half a tree down into our back yard It was a cracker! Lasted for ages too. We lost power for that day and night. Lots of candles. No TV. No computers. Well... lots of posts on the net with friends warning each other it was coming and to buckle down... until I think, most realised as the power went down in the path of the storm that they wouldnt be able to charge their phones again
Was thrilled that I lost all the food in the fridge. Rule to save the food is to not open the fridge. But I did need to feed the girls and it was still very hot that night and the next day. Bugger.
long one of it here... gets interesting at about 2:30
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....
Susanne, I hope this picture brings back happy memories, even if it is not the weather you've been having. This is taken at Sahuarita, just south of Tucson. The photographer called it "Saguaro, Sunrise & the Santa Rita Mountains."
