They're meant to look like fetuses, actually. I liked them because they had that unique, nasty look, and had these harsh whispery voices. Apparently, for the studio, they had little microphones concealed in the nodule closest to their face so that their voices could be picked up.

The Welsh Rabbit thing started of as an insult by the English, as in - we can afford rabbit, but 'Welsh rabbit' is toasted cheese because they can't afford anything else.

Personally, I'd take cheese any day over any sort of meat you could suggest. :P
