Missing connections with a friend. I went to see the ikebana exhibit anyway, but it would've been more fun with company.

Thanks for the advise on the dog situation. She's a sweet little thing, when she gets up she looks at the damp patch on the floor then looks around as if to say, 'Can you believe it? I was chasing the postman along the fence 6 months ago now look what I'm reduced to.' Well, that's what I like to think she's saying. She's only here a week, we'll manage.

My body still can't decide if it's sick or not. I know I should feel lucky that I'm still functional, but I would just like to feel completely good again. Because I'm achy, I have to bully myself into working out. And today started badly. Thing 2 was difficult about getting ready for school. She nearly made us late and I ended up yelling.

See a doctor about it - things like that usually get worse if left untreated.

Massive sulk time Image
what's the point of living less than a hour away from one of England’s major cities
when none of my favourite writers will extend their book tours to include that city
to explain further Joe Hill is visiting England and I can't afford to go the nearest stop on his tour
and I really want my proof of heart shaped box signed

and lastly
this is sulking not begging

What would be a good idea, is to have all these famous writers Signatures on a type of Transfer, so as people who really need books signing and can't get to the Signings for whatever reason can send away for some and then they can transfer it onto the books themselves, I know it's not a perfect solution but it's better than no Signature at all, What do you all think :?: .....I think it's a good alternative to the real deal. :D

It just came to me, it would help all those fans that either cant afford a signed copy or can't make it to a signing, The more i think about it the more i like it,We should ask the Publishers/Author etc........ :D

I know how you feel Ghost. It's rare that someone I want to see comes close enough to make it easy to go. And, don't worry, I don't know how anyone could perceive that as begging! I wouldn't have even thought of that.

Since leaving London where a lot of signings take place, I don't get to many now although The Edinburgh International Book Festival has a few authors I'm interested in. :)
