Bonnie pops in for a quick visit to wish Bickaxe Good Luck and send ~Healing Vibes~ to Dotsie.

Bonnie and MrE have spent the last two Sundays exploring the edges of San Francisco. Last week they stopped in Mill Valley where they found a lovely little french bakery. Unfortunately for Bonnie's waistline, they also found chocolate croissants but they were so yummy! ;) A bit further up the road found them in the north end of Sausalito at the yacht harbor. There they found the Seahorse Restaurant which is a quaint little place with a patio where they enjoyed a beer and the sunshine. 8-) Bonnie was a bit confuzzled by a sign on the highway that stated that starting March 27th the Golden Gate Bridge would no longer accept a "cash" toll fee. Later she read in the news online that instead, cameras would take a photo of the license plate and mail a bill unless you have a Fast Trak unit (pre-paid subscription). This made her wonder what would happen if they drove over the bridge whilst still waiting for the plates for her new car. How would they know who it was?

Well, Bonnie must toddle off to the exercise room to finish working off that croissant. She leaves hugs for (((everyboardie)))! :D

Jules is impressed by all the discovering. She's also worried about the 'exercise room'. That doesn't sound healthy - Jules advices to keep away from it! Just in case it bites. ;)

Phoenix also thinks this 'exercise room' thing sounds dangerous and suggests everyone studiously avoids it. She has however found lots of allergy-friendly Easter goodies and even some Strawberry Creams. She isn't sure how well it will mix with lots of tooth achy-ness, but is bravely going to try anyway ;)
Hah! I laugh in the face of danger... Then I hide until it goes away.

Jules is proud of Phoenix's willingness to suffer for the advance of science, but feels she should point out that maybe it would be clevererer to keep the goodies until the toothache is gone. Well, she's a wussie!

She's also very very proud of herself, because she finally finished her new picnic blanket. She had started the project a while ago, because she collects pretty fabrics like a squirrel hoards nuts and thought it was time to use up some of the smaller odds and ends.
This is what it looks like now - it's already crumpled. *sigh*

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Jules is also terrible at buttons - Tony will notice that there's not a single button or buttonhole on her blanket! :D

Dotsie is welcome for a picnic, but Jules thinks they should wait until the snow is gone.... :?

Will admires Jules's picnic blanket, but agrees with her that picnicking season has not yet arrived. Still plenty of snow in Luxembourg.

Will sympathises with Phoenix and hopes her toothache is better before Easter.

Will has good memories of the Golden Gate Bridge, which he and all the family cycled across in 2003. How did that get to be 10 years ago? Will is nervous of number plate reading technology, as they have that at the Channel Tunnel Shuttle terminal. When Will drives up to the ticket machine it displays "Hello Mr [Will of Lancre]". Machines probably shouldn't be that smart. :?

Will was very lucky to get back from England yesterday with no more than 30 mins delay while the ice was scraped from the plane's wings. (Actually Will suspects they may use something more advanced than a windscreen scraper, but the principle is the same).

Will had a nice time meeting the guys he was at uni with. This was slightly scary as some of them are a bit... important now, but at least even the VIP ones remembered Will's name. :)

Docandie can't do hand sewing because of arthritis in her right hand - left hand useless for fine work.

So she uses a http://www.buttonfastener.net/ and has had several over the years - especially when showing dogs when there was no time for sewing...

There are other uses but the main one is nifty...

Toothy is impressed with Jules's's's picnic quilt. That's a lot of work in there! She hopes Jules has an opportunity very soon to try it out properly. :)

The last few weeks have been busy and stressful for Toothy and she's not expecting any respite for a good few months yet. She hopes she has the physical and mental stamina to handle it. This is why she hasn't been in evidence around the board much, although she is there behind the scenes, just not posting as she'd like to.

Bedtime calls for sleepy Toothy, so she wishes everyboardie a pleasant evening and a happy Easter! :D

Jules thinks Bonnie's Easter Jumpers are a bit scary...

She's already eaten most of the eggs she bought (she made easter nests for friends and family and there were some eggs ... left), and hopes the easter bunny will bring some more... ;)

Gaaah! Jules forgot to say HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!

PS: Here's an extra stress free lavender egg for Toothy: 0
