Oh Cheery, I so completely understand you. My Graves Opthalmopathy made my eyes bug out really bad and the right one crossed in all the way to my nose. I was like that for years. Used to be I could look people in the eye and it was easy-peasy, self confidence all the way. As Each "thing" was fixed, much bone removed from eye orbits and sinus cavities ( three dang 7 hour operations), my eyes protruded less and the blindness eased up. Then I was just completely crosseyed on the right for 5 years, still no looking peeps in the eye. That got pretty much fixed about three years ago. I am still double vision, so I walk into stuff and don't do crowds well. However, the self confidence is just now starting to come back. It has been years, and sometimes I am faking it, but I fight to look people in the eye now.

I am sending good vibes for you honey, I believe they will help you. I believe in YOU.

I'm just kind of sad because of all the stuff that's happened and what's hit me the most is that none of my friends have visited me yet.

..doesn't sound like "friends" to me. :?

When I spent an afternoon in Switzerland in '09, all the girls looked beautiful to me! :)

Chin up girl! (no pun intended)

It's just a pity you did not come here and post about it sooner. People here really do care.

..and one of my big, wet, lickery kisses, with tongues is sure to cheer you up! :romance-kisslips:

:banana-skier: this is 'cos, you know, the Swiss thing. :D

Jeez, the superficiality of people beggars belief. Don't doubt yourself Cheery, hang in there.
