quietly wondering why my dvd player on my computer isn't playing some of my discs
I was kind of looking forward to playing going postal on the train

Ghost try cleaning one of those discs with a wet cleaner (or with one of those disc cleaners you can for £1 in Poundland) .
He willnae tak' a drink! I think he's deid! , on the other hand though A Midgie in yir hand is worth twa up yir kilt.

Try running the trouble shooter to see what it comes up with.

I don't know enough about Linux to suggest anything else but try one of the Linux forums for some online help.

thank you for trying I've been looking there as well the main solution that keeps on cropping up is remove and reinstall
so I'll try that tomorrow it's too late to be messing about with it

What DVD player software are you using? Maybe that's at fault.

Looking after my mother-in-law's incontinent house dog for a week is a minor niggle. Everywhere she lays she leaves a puddle. I've made barricades like when the kids were toddlers. I have floorboards not carpet so I'm not going completely nuts... yet.

They should invent Doggy Nappies, Perhaps you should see about it, you could make a fortune... :lol: :lol:

But i don't envy you putting down lots of Newspaper works, especially at night. :D

I think you can get special sheets to put down when training puppies that might work. It's made of the same material as nappies.

We've used them Tony ,you put them by the Back door and they get used to going there, i think what Jenn needs is used Newspaper, it'll be alot cheaper for her :D, That's what i recon anyway :D

I think you could try to make the dog wear a pair of old underwear. I know someone who did that when her dog was in heat. However, since the dog will probably not like wearing pants, it's probably less bother to just clean up after if if you only have it for a couple of days.
