Glad jose passed.

Congratulations to José on passing.
Here in Luxembourg the only testing centre used to be in a little place called Sandweiler. So "My car has to go to Sandweiler" is the usual way of saying "My car has to have its MOT". Confusingly, they have now opened two other testing centres, but everyone still says Sandweiler, though they may qualify it by saying "the Sandweiler at Esch" or "the Sandweiler at Wilwerwiltz".

No advisories either - which I think is pretty good for a 38 yr old vehicle.
The only slight downer was I got the bloke to do service this year - just to check I hadn't been doing anything wrong over the last 4 yrs. He reckoned he couldn't get the oil cap on the engine so bent the lugs so it would fit - but all you normally have to do is talk to Jose nicely and he lets the cap fit! . Got home after 8pm last night from the 25 mile trip to pick it up to find the oil cap had rattled off cos it was too loose . Luckily there wasn't too much oil on the engine. So then spent another half hour adjusting the cap so it would fit and stay tight. Ho Hum. Still I have another year's MOT which means another years camper adventures
