But, of course, in Bedford Falls it was always Christmas Eve.

Did I ever mention how much I love the Red Dwarf books? Remind to mention it some time if I haven't.

I've had a few crappy days as well Dotsie & needed cheering up. I'm reading the illustrated version of Eric, I enjoy immensely looking at Josh Kirby's art.

Pyramids is a very good DW book.

I really enjoyed it Tony, But i have a mind like a sieve so can't remember much, but yea it was good...Nanny Hogg doing the drinks trolly springs to mind

I'm not reading them yet. In fact, I might not read them for a while. But soon, I will be reading a number of books, including The Lies of Locke Lamora, The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia, and the first volume of the manga Yu-Gi-Oh! I've also got books like Bloom by Will McCarthy and Lamb by Christopher Moore. Oh, regarding Lamb, has anyone else here read it? I heard it was good, but I'd like some other opinions.

Lamb was really good, but not my favorite of his.

Lamb is my favorite Christopher Moore book. I'm not Christian, but the speculative 'biography' of Jesus that Moore creates in Lamb is a far more appealing one than the Jesus of the New Testament.

I'm currently reading Moore's newest book, Sacre Blue. It takes place in Europe during the period of the Impressionists and is a story of supernatural forces that influence the creations of Van Gogh, Manet, Monet, Pisarro, Talouse La Trec, Whistler, Renoir and other painters. It's very different than most of Moore's work, more intellectual, less slapstick, and offers a neat little art history overview of the times. It includes black and white photos of many of the paintings mentioned in the text (a color version would be much better).
