*sits in the introductions chair*
Hi, I'm Beo, (not pronounced as a stench, Beowulf is pronounced "BareWolf" or "Bayowulf" and I'm NOT anything to do with Grendel, I'm from a Tom Holt novel

)
I'm a 37 year old nerd/geek, I live with my two children, Daughter will be 14 this year, and son will be 11, we live with my long suffering Fiance in a small village on the outskirts of Cannock, Staffordshire.
We have a few pets, we were overrun with the beggers, but we decided to massively downsize, reason being the Government seem hell-bent on destroying disabled people and their families, we never know what benefit they are going to cut or strangle next.
I am severely disabled and only currently leave the house for medical appointments, I'm not asking for sympathy, I'm just explaining our situation, I don't mind being this way, it beats being homeless, or dying, or whatever.
*insert "Buggrit.... Millenium hand and shrimp!"*
Aherm, what else can I tell you?
Oh, yes... *gets back on topic* I enjoy crafting when I can sit upright and hold a crafting implement, be it a crochet hook, knitting needles, pliers, crimpers, cutters, and so on, you get the drift... when I'm no good at sitting up I usually play with my phone, preferably on role playing games, a few carpy time management games, hidden object games (I finish the damn G5 Entertainment Games in one day! Not buying any more! lol) and any app that takes my fancy.
When I can sit, but not use my hands well enough for intricate crafting, I tend to attempt to go on my laptop. I have recently installed Xubuntu, I had the plan to run windows 7 in VMWare player, but the graphics were not good enough for what my Son needed, so I had to re-install windows 7 *spits in disgust* and dual boot with linux. My Son uses Windows to play Roblox and Minecraft, and I use Linux when I get to fiddle. My Son's PC is dead as a dodo so he has adopted my laptop, not a good plan really but I cannot afford the power supply that will be suitable to power his graphics card just yet.
I think that is all really.
I like to think I am a friendly lass, and that I get on with others quite easily, but I much prefer to have friendships online than in real life, I suspect a degree of Asperger's but I have never been tested.
Anyway, that's all about me.
I look forward to "meeting" you all!

Kind regards
Beo
