Thank you for your kind comments. Angst works on a number of levels. Obviously those "in the know" like looking for the Discworld references, while it works (I think) just as well as a Victorian/Edwardian townscape with a few odd items of architecture (Ok there are dwarfs etc). Toby makes the occasional trip round the circuit if small children are looking at the layout at exhibitions - they like that sort of thing! As well as the flashing eyes in the sewer outfall (sorry no photo of that at the moment) plus all the other things to look at (including the tardis).

I'm currently working on a low-relief theatre to go at the back. This in the style of the Globe - presumably aka the Dysk.

PS perhaps I should add there are 9 privvies on the layout!

Hi Geoff, welcome to the forum and I'm glad you followed my suggestion to drop in from last week

I could hardly bear stay away now could I?

I'm busy with my Open University modules, so can't spend too long roaming the boards - but Lynsey put up a 'We might have a very exciting annoucement on Friday..." on FarceBroke just now and if prompted me to call in whilst having my cuppa.


And now I rather fancy an O gauge layout for the bears to play with.... (For others looking on, I collect Teddy Bears!)

Just a quick few words to introduce myself. I am an overweight, bald Goon Show fanatic into Photography, waterskiing and reading (not necessarily at the same time, but I might try some day).
I discovered Pterry some 20 years ago and have been annoying my beloved by bursting into laughter at random intervals ever since.
