Were there not whispers not so long ago about a TV adaptation of Good Omens?

I found a blog somewhere that said it was still in production, but they also said the budget for the Watch is £13-15 per episode, so I'm taking their info with a pinch of salt.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

There was a lot of talk about Terry Gilliam making the movie of Good Omens about ten years or so ago. It really looked as if it was going to happen for a while. Check out this blog with a timeline of events, :)

And check out this section of Wiki for more up to date news.

Here are a few responses from opening night:

From Twitter:

At the Cottier theatre watching #GoodOmens. It's been an excellent adaptation so far. Hope @neilhimself enjoys it if he can get to see it.

From Facebook:

For all the people who have yet to purchase a ticket: you better hurry because these guys were bloody magnificent! And before anybody asks, no, this is not my crush on Crowley the character speaking, even though the guy playing him did him justice.

Also, be warned, the voice of the guy playing Death might give you goose bumps (and I mean that in the best of ways!). If not for this stupid dissertation I'd be there every night until I learned the lines by heart. I'm gonna stop singing their praises now before it becomes too much, but yeah, awesome job everybody!. :)

Alanz.

GO is one of my favorite books. I read it at least once a year.

I'd love to go and see this play.

I'm pretty sure it's not touring, Alanz. It's a small theatre company doing a few shows in one theatre in Glasgow. :)

Do you subscribe to Jason's Discworld Monthly emagazine? That's a great place to find any productions of Terry's plays that might be in your area. :D
