I used to love Adam Ant back in the day. He was so cool *lol*. I even tried a bit of similar warpaint myself, before I knew how make-up worked *blush*.

Welcome back Ridcully, sorry to hear about the accident but I hope you're ok now. Here's a tune of Adam and the Ants before they became 'cool'. (Personally, I think they were at their coolest pre 'Kings of the Wild Frontier' album when they were more a punk group.)

Ah, that's sweet of you all. Tnx Tony, Joolz, Christian, Dotsie, Who's and Penfold (sorry if I forgot someone)! Really appreciate it.

However, the accident's almost 7 years ago. I do not want to bother you guys with the details, but for the past almost 3 years I have been receiving so-called 'facet denervaties' (sorry, no idea what the English word is) to try alleviate the pain (which was so bad I lost my job as a Management Assistant). I have had 19 so far. Anyhoo... the pain is a little less but the end is still not in sight. *sigh* Ah well. Some days are better than others, as for all of us.

Great to be back here, though and I will try to keep up

@Joolz: thanks for this! This is exactly the vid that inspired me (although I remembered using far more colours and stripes ).

@Penfold: I appreciate you trying to teach me something, but humble little me still prefers 'stand and deliver'; I have never been much of a punk fan. Sorry

Yes, it has but the "facetdenervaties' have brought some relief (albeit very, very, very slowly and painfully). Having said that; after the last 5 (end last year) I have not once been able to walk the dog without pain and that is a bit of a bummer.
Today I have finally decided to ask for a second opinion because I am sick to tears of all these horrible 'denervaties'. Jay, me, right? Ah well, better late than never, I guess.

For some reason, I've been using psychotic alter-egos as avatars lately. I used Hyde from the BBC series Jekyll for my previous avatar, and now, I've used a screenshot of Dark Yugi from the original version of Yu-Gi-Oh!. Oh, and the quote is from the Abridged version of the scene in my avatar.
