Here's a couple more of the wood burinings that I have been trying out. Both are steampunk inspired (I'm going through my steampunk phase dontcha know :lol: )

Firstly, in memory of their creator Ray Cusick , a steampunk dalek

Me too, and I don't really "get" steampunk.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

It seems to me to be an imagining of advanced technology in the hands of the victorians. The movie of HG Wells' Time Machine is a good example. Terry Gilliam does something similar in his film Brazil although that's advanced technology with a 1940/50s twist.

Took a walk in the woods while it was bright,sunny and chilly and was struck with the moss on the trees and the colour of the fallen leaves. Taken with my camera phone.
