Loved Richard Briers - a great actor and comedian what a legacy he leaves behind him.

He also played wonderful villains. For example...

He plays James Farlow in an episode of New Tricks, who poisons Jack Halford with concentrated vitamin A, I think...


And, of course, there was the Chief Caretaker, from the Doctor Who story Paradise Towers, which was where, of course, I saw him first...





Was it me, or did he often play these roles that had an almost childish nature?
