Blimey! They seem to get some pretty hard strikes off meteorites over there :?

Cos it's a huge landmass, but they do seem to be unlucky.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

who wants to lay odds that it was along for the ride with the bigger one?

Boy, if this had happened the early 60s the only ones left that to remember it would be the cockroaches and rats...

I love all the people that have gone around correcting anyone that called this a meteor, not a meteorite since it hit the ground. They come off sounding like shady insurance reps.

Man: No, your policy says that if a meteor destroys my home I am covered, I demand the payment you owe me.

Insurance rep: Eyup, it does, but since it actually hit your house it's technically a "MeteorITE". so you ain't covered.

Man: -_-

Yesterday I was watched the movie, 'Thirteen Days', about the Cuban Missile Crisis, and that thought crossed my mind as well. :?

Impressive. And luckily no one died.

From the information I got, the one passing us and this one are not related. The thing that hit Russia came from another direction and was much faster (30km/s). So it seems to have been a coincidence.
