Myself and two friends from the camera club are currently planning a 7 day holiday there in April. We are not entirely sure just where yet as we have only just decided on that part of the country but we will be taking a cottage for the week.

Was hoping to go to Cornwell at end of May but looking at petrol costs - towing caravan - we have had to knock that one on the head. It's lovely down there in Spring penfold, have a good holiday.

Does the land sort of reach up and try to grab you by the ... erm, bits? I too am glad you live on a hill.

Was going to complain that in February 'round here was being a bit jerky, first down below 0 farenheit, then up to 50, And down to 10 below, and up to 59 with two days of rain, right into 1/2 day of ice and then plunging below just enough to freeze the roads then an hour later 3 inches of snow. Winter should be vaguely stable, not all higgledy-piggledy like a Po-Go Stick.

I will stick with this, you have massive fires, massive smoke, massive water and BUGS, SNAKES, SPIDERS, DEADLY KOALA'S (ask Del), KILLER CROCS, JELLYFISH and lord only knows what else. I would be scared to visit.

All we get are visions of a psychotic ice age... Hmmph, it is So SUNNY!!! ARGH! Me Eyeballs, Oh the Pain. Waily, Waily, Waily...

It's still cold here, but nice enough so that I could walk to run my errands.

It's snowing again here and it's awfully cold-well,the thermometer says -4 but it feels like -15 because the wind is high and biting cold.My hands smarted only going out to the car.The high wind means it lashes the snow into your face-really uncomfortable weather.I could do with some spring!
