I could let you have some of the snow round here but you'd have to collect it your self :D

What it looks like after you (er, your children) shovel out 30" of snow.

I remember doing that as a kid in NH. Back when snow shovels were a frill... we used solid, heavy coal shovels.

LUXURRRRRRRY!!!

Back when I was kid we worked 36 hours a day nine days a week pickin' up snow with our tongues and moving it flake by flake twenty miles to the quarry where our dad would beat us around the head with a Radio Flyer blade. :D

Apologies if this has been posted before. This is definitely something I'd like to try.

Balloons filled with coloured water & left out to freeze, then cut the balloon off the ice ball.

I'd fill my yard up with them.
I used to do with balloons(without the colours though) but as I don't get all that snow,I just used to stick it in the freezer. :P Then watch my makeshift crystal ball melt in my hands afterwards.

I am reliably informed that it is currently snowing in Manchester.

We had a few flakes of snow here in Cardiff this morning. Now it's raining.

I'm travelling to the West Country tomorrow, so I don't want any of the white stuff or the wet stuff.
