I here so many people ending their sentences with "there" now a days.

Like,
What can I get you there?
Is there everything else there?
That will be $15 there.

People also put "last year" together, to make "lasheer".

According to Americans, don't all Canadians end every sentence with "eh?". ?

That sounds more Irish to me, like when you're asked what you want in a pub, table service etc, what can I get you there.

I had a young Irish guy as a patient the other day. I didn't get around to asking him what part of Ireland he was from but he said feck a lot, as in "How the feck do I get outside I need a feckin' cigarette?" Which made me smile. Which made him angry. So then I didn't smile & just pointed to the exit sign.

He'd already said a couple of times he wanted to go for a smoke but cause of his injuries (head) I asked him to stay put, as you do. He might have thought I was making fun of him, but I wasn't. It's a funny word. When he got back to the cubicle he started throwing up. I didn't give him the, What did I say? look at all. The senior house doctor came over & had a chat to him & he didn't move again.
