Now, I know he's been briefly discussed in the 'Headlines that Left You Speechless' thread, but, because I like to stir sh** up, I thought we could have a thread to violently disag- I mean, discuss intellectually King Richard III, his reputation, and how badly the Tudors, Shakespeare, and Sir Laurence Olivier [EFF!]ed said reputation up.

There seems to be an online petition doing the rounds, asking that Richard get a full Royal funeral and be buried at York Minster rather than Leicester. Personally, I'm not bothered, and I don't suspect he is either.

As far as Richard is concerned, it's a bit hard to be bothered when, you know, you're dead and your brain became worm food over half a millennium ago.

Apparently when they erected an shelter over the excavation somebody put a mirror ball in it. Now it is winter in his disco tent.
