Thanks Kari. The weather is absolutely gorgeous by the looks of it today... It should be a beautiful blue sky and a warm balmy day. The birds are starting their deafening roar in a chorus to the dawn. (It gets really loud at dawn). I have never been so thankful to see those roaring winds and rain go away. Just waiting for the rivers to come up. 
See the Weather thread Alanz. Not long now... 9am is 4 hours away, creek still rising. I will be calmer after midday. Some of these flood waters will take days to come down but my system should show its teeth today.

Pretty good. The weather looks ok, I have the weekend off which means i have loads to do... Going to make a nice Valentines meal tonight as someone who shall remain nameless mucked up and took a job on Thurs.

I think I am recovering... Brad (hubby) & I got our flu shots this year due to the fact that I have had so many problems. The "experts" said you may get a "tiny flu" from the shot and not to worry, it is much less icky than the flu.
I felt icky for 9 days, including my birthday. Yuck. Feel pretty normal today. well, physically anyways
