I've just had my Haggis (veggie one ) it was passable) with champit tatties but nae neeps with a wee hauf of the Black Grouse, now off out to ra pub fur a drap mare.

He willnae tak' a drink! I think he's deid! , on the other hand though A Midgie in yir hand is worth twa up yir kilt.

Thanks Penners I'm lucky I don't suffer from hangovers unless I drink red wine

Today I made a squash, feta and pine nut tart, and the edges of the puff pastry got burnt.
Does that qualify for Burns Night???

Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)

Though... if you had overcooked a dish of vegetables and thin slivers of meat tossed in hot sesame oil in a wok..... you would have had CHINESE BURNS NIGHT
