I would love to miss the winters in the Midwest! Didn't know you lived here Mad. Where were you?

Just outside Milwaukee. I married an American and moved to Wisconsin at the end of the 1980's

We got married in February, it was unbelievably cold (around -30 centigrade) but really beautiful out in the countryside but we didn't hang around outside for all the photographs :D
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I understand! I can't say that I've been motivated to hang out taking pictures of the snow. :D

I didn't realise that American red squirrels were a different species until fairly recently. I was told that they were a real pain in the neck, rather than the nice meek ones we have here. :D

Went 'makeshift tobogganing' on Sunday using an Asda Bag For Life. It worked pretty well. I've got a day off tomorrow, so might go again. :D

Love that picture Bouncy, it's so beautiful.

It's snowing here this morning and I have to admit it that the girls and I thought it looked really pretty while we were walking to the school bus. Everything is all white and sparkly. It will all be gone in a few days though. It's supposed to get up to 50F (5c) by Tuesday.

That's positively balmy for you then!

We've had a forecast for snow, but an invitation to a friend's in the city for Burn's Night, so we're going to risk it. Muppet will get extra food just in case we get stuck.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

It alternates between light and heavy snowfall and some rain here today, but not cold as it's above zero.
