Beautiful pictures as usual Penners & Dug. I don't see many sunrises, I should make more of an effort. Clearly worth it.

Our sunrises do tend to happen at 'civilized' times over here, although I still manage to miss them.

I forgot about the short days over your way. I think I could manage 8:30 :shifty: . It would take some getting used to seeing the sun set a 4 in the afternoon. Winter here everyone complains cause the sun sets at 6:30 pm or so .

Yeah but then in summer those uplanders have sun til some ungodly hour. I couldn't imagine getting kids to sleep with the sun still up.

I still remember walking home from the pub with friends there , half smashed, dolled up from a night out in broad daylight....

Well actually yes I have done that here in Australia when I was younger... but it was the broad daylight of the next day... there had been a dark bit inbetween.

BTW Jen... your kids are gorgeous.. they look all relaxed and worn out from the surf huh. Love the way your son stands beside the most expensive surfboard. Typical.

Those pics of the animals are so random. Wonder if they got them as a group lot.Or did they think they were ordering one of those little plastic packets of zoo animals for the grandson and BOY DID THEY GET A SURPRISE WHEN THEY ARRIVED!!!

Bloody eBay.

Drove in to work today in the camper. It was a bit scary in the snow, but good old Jose got me there! Turned out I was the only one to make it in  . The boss called and told me to go home early before I got snowed in.

So here's a pic of Jose having got me safely home. Who needs a modern car. 38 years old and going strong :D :D :D

He deserves an extra buffing and a new can of oil.

Thinking about going out with the kids in a bit to make snowmen - but it's still blowing a blizzard out there!

No snowmen Del.....sorry. Wrong type of snow - too powdery! Just about makes a snowball, but falls apart if you try to go any bigger.

However, heres some pics of the kids (and me) fooling around in the local woods.
