They're beautiful animals and all, but I don't think you have to get upset because there was a bit of Mr Ed (or Ate) in a burger.

I'd hate to think they'll get rid of all that food, just 'cos it's horse meat. I'd eat it. It's probably better for you anyway.

It's illegal to sell it in the UK listed under not fit for human consumption, you can't have it in the same premises as other foodstuffs, although many years ago when I used to eat meat I tried it in a resturant at a racetrack in Belgium when attending a Bike Rally, as Jan said it's sweet also very lean with a smooth texture.

An amateur prospector in the Australian state of Victoria has astonished experts by unearthing a gold nugget weighing 5.5kg (177 ounces).

The unidentified man, using a handheld metal detector, found the nugget on Wednesday, lying 60cm underground near the town of Ballarat.

The original report said DNA had been found.. The news just on said that one burger had 25% horse meat !!!

Gives a whole new meaning to "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"
