I heard Horse Meat is good.

At least, Anthony Bourdain seemed to think so.

This is from Pam Ayres on Twitter...

"They have eaten poor old Dobbin who was grazing by the sea,
They put him in a Tesco burger, buy one get one free."

...and this from Facebook...

"Hospitals in the UK have reported admitting several people following the consumption of burgers containing horse meat. The individuals concerned are said to be in a stable condition."

And...

"How do prefer your meat?

B Well done
C Running in the 3:30 at Aintree"

I had a Tesco burger last night, and I've still got a bit between my teeth.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

:D

Horse is not bad.
They're beautiful animals and all, but I don't think you have to get upset because there was a bit of Mr Ed (or Ate) in a burger.

I've eaten horsemeat (in France :shifty: ). It was actually quite nice - like sweet beef.

I'd hate to think they'll get rid of all that food, just 'cos it's horse meat. I'd eat it. It's probably better for you anyway.

It's illegal to sell it in the UK listed under not fit for human consumption, you can't have it in the same premises as other foodstuffs, although many years ago when I used to eat meat I tried it in a resturant at a racetrack in Belgium when attending a Bike Rally, as Jan said it's sweet also very lean with a smooth texture.

Blimey, Del. You need to buy a metal detector.

An amateur prospector in the Australian state of Victoria has astonished experts by unearthing a gold nugget weighing 5.5kg (177 ounces).

The unidentified man, using a handheld metal detector, found the nugget on Wednesday, lying 60cm underground near the town of Ballarat.
