I made my suggestion and he actually made a comment on my suggestion!

Our family has been making us smile. We are so, so lucky to have them.

Yesterday I visited my friend and her son (who is our godchild and 11 months old now) seemed to be totally delighted to see me, babbling at me and crawling all over me, showing his latest tricks and his coolest toys.

Aren't babies the most wonderful little darlings.

I for my baby fix this afternoon when the guy over the rroad was popping next door to check the new fence he and the neighbour have been putting up. I managed to be checking the mailbox at the right time and swooped in to cuddle his 9 month old baby boy while they got on with it. He's such a giggler and I was in heaven.

Babies just smell so right somehow.

I had my smile for the day when walking my dog late this afternoon.
It's been snowing a bit here and temps are below zero,so the stuff is staying put.
This means all sorts of fun(as well as bother),including the making of snowmen.
We were just walking along when coming across a poor attempt at this,basically a big snowball the size of a skippyball with a smaller one the size of a... well a head actually.
My dog seemed to take some interest in it and went to investigate.
She only gave it one cursory sniff before,with a nifty left hook,expertly decapitating it...
She then gave me what i took as a 'i sorted that my human,you don't have to worry about it anymore'-look and moved on.
I had a bit of a 'ahhh...that poor little snowman'-moment ,while also having to chuckle quite a lot at the same time.
