Why.... WHY... am I the only one who seems capable of changing the toilet roll?

Out of curiosity, what do you change it for??

That toilet roll isn't hung correctly. It should have the paper coming forward, not backwards.

No, if you hang it the other way then if you ever grab to much (say yanked to hard, now half the roll is on the floor), a slight downward smack will roll it back up. otherwise you have to sit there and re roll it manually. inefficient use of time.

Actually, I do hang it the other way, and always have done.
I was pretty miffed once, when after my mother, eldest sister and brother-in-law came to visit, I found that one of them had turned the roll round, without mentioning it.
I immediately turned it back to how I want it to unravel.

Santa and all the other Christmassy things were taken down on Saturday. so no Santa was hurt in the accident.
Of course, we have a Tigger that takes his place for the rest of the year, and he was knocked sideways... But being Tigger, he bounced back!

I am getting sick of the hanger boxes at work being rearranged on my days off
I wasted 15mins today picking up shoe hangers from a split box that shouldn't have been moved in the first place
and two boxes one quarter full of knitwear hangers because that person couldn't be bothered to look for the correct box in the first place I am getting sick of being moaned at because I am not fast enough but only because I am also busy tidying and sorting the hangers

I forgot to turn my alarm clock off last night and got a nasty shock this morning

So true! Not just the alarm clock in this house.. by kids and by the cat too. The cat has decided it's a good idea to walk across my face in the morning, about 10 minutes before my alarm is due to go off.

Personal niggle.....

If I was rich I would hire someone to do nothing BUT wake me gently each morning... and make sure I was up.

So... to wake up in the morning I have to have an alarm that is SO FREAKING ANNOYING it WILL wake me up... if its too nice I will work it into my dream and ignore it.... but by having the most NASTY ANNOYING ALARM EVER then I wake up every morning in an instant bad mood. ARGH.

A friend of my daughters suggested this.... he had a friend who had trouble waking up in the morning and they gave him one.



I looked at him blankly and asked...... "And?"

He said.... "The first morning he loved it and got out of bed and put it back onto the clock to stop the noise because thats the only way to stop the noise. The second morning he smashed the alarm clock to pieces to stop the noise."

Me: "Exactly!"
