You may be confusing the CA Discworld forum with the Harper Collins one, Del. HC amalgamated with this site and we had that influx of new friends. Several people here (including me) are members of the Cunning Artificer's (CA) forum and still post there. Sadly, it seems to me that the CA board isn't nearly as lively as it once was. Well whatever happened when that lot came and took over this place, redecorated, started baking, made us put on clothes and stop picking our noses...

I don't know why the CA site isn't so lively either (although I don't think the new look forum helps - it's calf scale yellow!) but I do think it's evolved and become more focused on events. As someone who can't actually get to the events, I do feel a bit ... not left out, exactly, but perhaps less involved. Also, there is less input these days from Uncle B and co (and that's perfectly understandable too) and there is less Fun Stuff going on. I think a lot people on that site interact in real life with each other so feel less need to post? I don't know.
