Minor Niggles

Postby Ghost » Tue Jan 08, 2013 11:45 am

This for minor irritations and not full on frustrations
for instance 5 minutes ago I was dunking a double choc cookie and I dunked for too long
the cookie broke and landed half in my tea and half splattered across my nice clean dressing gowned

Is Minor Niggles aimed at children???

Yesterday I fell over at home. As I fell, my upper arm hit the rocking horse and my forehead hit the corner of a solid wooden table.
Luckily for me our tables have rounded edged, or it could have been more serious.

Today I really ache. The niggle is that for all my injuries, I don't have any bruises to impress people with! Image

While suffering from coffee lack yesterday morning I managed to pour my breakfast juice into my cereal and my cereal milk into my coffee.

Oh Batty... that's way more than a niggle hun. Give it a day or two... You should get a few good bruises.

Why.... WHY... am I the only one who seems capable of changing the toilet roll?

Batty. Get some Arnica gel and rub it on the thumped places.

I whacked the top of my right foot about a year ago, and after a week or so of little or no bruising, I put on some Arnica gel and within 10 minutes the whole of the top of my foot had gone black.

One of the women in the jujitsu dojo my daughter used to be in mixes up a potion called Bruise Juice that has arnica in it. It really works!

My minor niggle today was leaving the house without my cell phone. I hate that now that I have a 30 minute commute to work. Not that I talk while driving but it would come in handy if something went wrong.

  Thankfully, they are unscathed! The rocking horse lost his antlers on Saturday, so nothing else has dropped off since then!!

I have some arnica gel in the bathroom, which my GP once said was rubbish and didn't work.
I ignored him, of course. I often ignore GP's advice. I feel healthier for it!
I'll put the arnica on very shortly. :D

That toilet roll isn't hung correctly. It should have the paper coming forward, not backwards. :naughty:

APPARENTLY.... if you hang the paper to the back... people use less.

I am thinking about hiding the toilet paper and taking a roll in when I want to use the loo... and see how long it takes THEM to change the roll on a regular basis.

Leaving the rubbish bin in the bedroom worked at getting them to take that out.
