Hey Dotsie.... strike off ANOTHER box that gets you closer to that little one. Yay! I refuse to say good luck because you dont need it. You will be an excellent mum.
You know what?.... I had a revelation the other day... about YOU. It suddenly struck me that AAAAGES ago you made a comment about having to lose a few pounds as you had an important interview coming up, etc. etc. That was the interview about becoming a mum wasnt it??????
Dots... Mums are supposed to be a bit cuddly. When I had my second one my oldest one came up to me and squeezed my wobbly belly and said "Oh mummy! You have soft bits now!"
Chilli. Oh mate. Yep! Brilliant when the whole family comes down huh? You poor things. Get well soon the lot of you. And dont go back to work if you can avoid it... better to be a bit more recuperated... and if you are a bit better the others might need a bit of TLC.

Tired! Yesterday was a big day. Took to girls to Culver's for lunch. Probably ate a week's worth of calories in that one meal. But their frozen custard is divine! Went to Lowe's (DIY place) to get stuff for the kitchen redo, then went ice skating for a couple of hours. It was fun, but cold and tiring. Poor Derek barely got a work out. He could shoot around the rink 3 times while the girls and I wobble along the edges and barely get 3 feet. The girls love it when he comes racing at them at top speed, swooshes to a stop at the last minute and covers them with ice shavings. Don't know how he does it. It always looks like there's no way he can stop in time. That gets my heart rate up at least.
Today is the girls' first day back to school after the break and Vivian woke me up at 5am.
I'm going to need a lot of coffee today.

im knackered they were so pleased to see me for the first hour
