I just got the 500 error again.

Got the error and then got through without having time to make a sandwich and pot of coffee. ;)
Be careful what you wish for as you just might get it.

It's still slow. I'm surprised TP can't get a better hosting company. It should not be messed up for a week.

Yeah, it's good for a minute and then it messes up. But still, the publishers should get someone better. They should have 24/7 support for this sort of thing. Terry's not some obscure author.

I've not been home before now. I got a message from the guys at Transworld to say that there are experiencing the 500 errors. Please bear with them while they try and sort it all out.

Behind every technology there are - if all's said and done - humans, after all (at least I hope so  ) who need holidays, too ;) I don't mind it that much, if they can fix it soon-ish... And it's not as if we had a LOT of complaints over the years... I mean, I could never build a forum like this, or maintain it or anything... if it was up to me, the whole thing would have exploded aaaaages ago

I thought The Cunning Artificer's message boards were down for a few days then realised I was still trying to connect via the old link which doesn't appear to work any more.

You now need http://www.discworldemporium.com/forum/
