Actually, I didn't. I preferred the deadpan quoting.

But, if you insist, It's The End of the World As We Know It, Doctor Who style! :P (Warning, some flashing images, so epileptics shouldn't watch)

I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

Yes, I believe that the world did in fact end and that we are all mindless zombies now and simply unaware of what has happened to us.

The papers today seemed quite disappointed that we're all still around. No story here, shame!
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Ah yeah, I vaguely remember hearing on the radio that it was gonna be curtains time (again!) on Friday.

There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Well, wait until New Year's Day, 2016. According to Neon Genesis Evangelion, that's when the entire human race will be reduced to a mass of disembodied souls and primordial soup by a gigantic naked teenage girl. Which, BTW, is only ONE of the really [EFF!]ed up things about End of Evangelion... :?

To be honest, I'm not too sure I would want to be breathing the air inside the bunker after a perpetual diet of baked beans. I think I will take my chances with the air outside thank you. ;)

Do you think the Mayans took into account the Gregorian calendar? If they hadn't you'll need to add on 11 days, which would then make the end of the world 01/01/13...
