We got a little bit of snow last night. But it's all slushy and probably won't last. At least things didn't ice over.

Alanz say hello to your boss from Michigan! How long has he lived there? Last winter was so mild it was almost like it didn't happen. Don't know what's going to happen this year. Although, like I mentioned, after three years in a row with huge amounts of snow, we bought a snow blower, which means we'll probably never need to use it.

Rap, I kind of hate you right now.

It was sooooo miserable here last night. Took Ava to riding and it was so cold and extremely windy. Of course it wasn't cold enough to freeze the muddy parts of the pastures. Sunk in up to my ankles.

We were fine while we were in the arena, but as soon as we stepped outside it felt like Siberia. A couple of those gusts of wind sounded like they were going to blow the barn right over! Made for a fun drive too.

Howling Gale here, we've not had a south boat for three days (everything, food etc, comes up by boat) the interisland ferries have stop running as well. Rain is horizontal, mixed with ice and snow. NOT NICE!

I'm jealous of your 20c Tony! An uncomfortable 37c / 98.5 f here today...had some of the family over for an early Christmas lunch (we go by stages to save running all over the contryside on one day) so we all sat around and basically melted.

Still, I'm glad getting access to food is not dependant on the weather for us...I hope it improves soon for you Errata!

It's raining! And it has been raining since yesterday! Maybe the Mayans got it right, just the date was wrong...
