Ah, nothing like an introduction thread to see lots of things posted that aren’t introductions at all.
As we all know, belief often defines reality. In some cases, this is a literal juxtaposition of what is believed over what is. In other cases, this is a figurative juxtaposition of what is believed over what is. In either case, one’s belief dictates what they are perceiving, and therefore reality itself for the observer. Therefore, you can picture me well.
I look something like
this.
Or at least until such time as belief alters in the expanding horizons of your world as yours clashes against mine (which, inevitably, they will someway or other).
In the meantime, the facts go something like this:
I’m 24, male, and rather new to the works of Sir Pratchett. And by new, I mean very new indeed. However, I pride myself at being quick on the read and quicker on the learn. I am a Sailor by trade, an interpreter by craft, and a writer by luck. I am a fan of wordplay and philosophy, and am a firm believer in the beauty and power of language. Especially colorful language. And where the power of colorful language fails, there is always a swift and solid kicking.
