:lol: I've only ever seen 2D IMAX films (mostly in Vegas :roll: ) I don't think they did 3D for that back in the late '90's ;)

I just got back from watching it and I can honestly say I was impressed. There was also a lot more humour and laugh out moments than I expected (some of which I'm sure a lot of purists will not approve of). :D

I was at the premiere at 12.12.12 0:00... saw lots and lots of people dressed as hobbits, one as Gandalf, it was huge fun..!
Only I wasn't there to see the movie, I was studying on a bench in the mall :P Can't wait to see the movie, though! :D Sjoerd and I are going... we are, right?!

Yea we had a choice 2D or 3D but i chose 2D, might change my mind for the next one though :D

When my kids were, well, kids for 3 years LOTR was out 2 days after Christmas keeping sane day out.

Thats what we're doing this year, difference is they can pay for their own popcorn now :mrgreen:
