Chilli I totally understand about the cup holder. I love the "little" stuff.

I once bought a new whisk and loved it so much I used to take it with me to show it to my friends.

I had SO much to smile about today. And not just because I am paid to smile... will.fill you in soon. Amazing day. But hard to celebrate just now with the news as it is.

This was yesterday, but it's still making me smile today. Picking my mom up from the hospital and taking her home! My Aunt is staying with her and by yesterday evening my mom was bossing me around. All good!

What is making me smile today is Christmas baking with my niece. It's been really nice having 1 to 1 time with her. So far we've made chocolate bark for secret presents and stained glass window biscuits to decorate our trees (once we get them up) and then next we're making Lemon Shortbread. Yum!

I really didn't think I was going to get away at all. I'm waiting on a letter from the benefit office with an appoinment (been waiting since early November). Finally I phoned the office concerned and they assured me that I'm not likely to get the letter until late January, possibly February. It's a huge relief.

What made me smile today was sending out a few of the Calendar Girl calendars to family and a few friends who'd particularly requested them. Family hadn't asked for copies, so I'm waiting to hear the reaction.
