What cheered me up was taking the day off work and missing a pallet each of lager, water and tatties. The thoughtful birthday presents from my family and workmates - the best of which was the tickets to see the Hobbit next Wednesday from mum and dad . The day at the beach with the puppy dog despite the frost and ice - that was a weird experience walking across frozen sand...

All in all, a good day.

José the camper got a free Christmas pressie yesterday. It's a new cup holder thingymajig for the dashboard. .........well it made me happy anyway - I'm easily pleased

The camper's too old to have things like built in cup holders in every nook n cranny. I saw this one at a VW show, and couldnt afford it at the time. Then the company selling them did a prize draw on Facebook - I entered and won.

I shall of course bore everyone senseless with pictures of the cupholder in situ.....once I fit it
