Just told my mum the postman story, and we're both in fits of laughter!!

Mrs Bouncy just waved back and said hello!!

I'm in Dorset. It's bloody freezing.

Del, this is what parts of Britain woke up to this morning.

Petworth is quite close to me so I might try and get there for the crack of dawn next week and post some frosty pics here. :D

So pretty.

Idiot man swimming in the Serpentine .

See!!!!!! I TOLD you to buy RED shoes and you laughed at me!!!!!!

Yeah! Who's laughing now! The woman that brought the red shoes that's who!

"Oh help! I have fallen through the ice on the frozen river! Oh good lad! You did see my red shoes and pulled me from the icy river!"

Yeah.

Got a bit chilly here last night too... mid 20's I had to pull the corner of the doona .... duvet .... over my tummy... could have got up and turned the fan off... but seemed way too much effort.

The postman? He headed into the house and got as far as the hall when he must have overheard our exchange.

Me: (amidst showery noises) Who was that at the door, sweetie?
Her:The postman,Mummy.
Me:Did he have a parcel for Mummy?
Her:Yup,think so.
Me:So,where is it then?
Her:Dunno.
Me:And where is the postman now?
Her:He's coming.I told him he can come in and see you in the shower if he wants to.
Me: WHAT????But baby,Mummy's all bare!Nononono, tell him to come back later, will you???
........sweetie????Honey,you just go and tell him to.... hello??Honey???

When I came out of the shower, the postman was gone, the front door was wide open, and the little one was sitting in her room playing and singing to herself.About an hour later,a very very friendly postman with a very healthy complexion brought me a nice parcel and said what a cute daughter I had.

Ah me,postmen arent what they used to be...... :D

Del....:D
Thats what kids are for,eh?....they have special Mummy embarrassing software.:D

Well, what DID she say to the postman????

:D

I've got a new phone. It's driving me nuts but I can play with my friends on it,which is,aside from being able to do some of the Christmas shopping too,the most important thing.I just wish it would stop trying to autocorrect everything I write into german,as if english were a mistake per se.So as long as the puter is in hospital,I can only log on when I have time and nerves enough.(It's ten days to Christmas and four to my court date.)Now spot the mistake in THIS sentence.:D

Good one Ghost.

.

((((((Broc )))))))) oh hun ... you will be in my heart and thoughts every minute until your court date is over. Please let us know how it goes asap. Bouncys got a baseball bat she keeps polishing for mine ... I am sure she could give us a cut price for a complete 'lot'.

Yeah I have a new phone too... argh. Get the main computer once a week if lucky because the sim card is NEEDED for the wifi so the girls can both go online whenever... grrrr.

It's a pain typing in this. Spend more time correcting auto correct than posting.

At least I am just Del on the forum.... but it insists on auto correcting my real surname to Mindless ....

Gotta love that!
